This pillow case is not only practical but beautiful as well! I always travel with my own pillow for comfort and cleanliness reasons. Having a distinctive pillowcase prevents any mistakes on the part of housekeeping taking the pillowcase for laundry or my own forgetfulness in taking it with me when I leave. The silk wasn't my main reason for buying but I love the smoothness and having my hair less of a mess in the morning. It is silk on both sides which is super nice, also the brightly colored design is two sided. The zipper closure is great - I sometimes stow my nightgown inside the case for travel. The 20x26 size is appreciated b/c queen size cases are too large for standard pillows and contribute to wrinkles and pillow face in the morning. I have not laundered it yet, but I have other silk items and always hand wash and hang them dry so not anticipating any problem if I do the same with this.

I have since used them a few times and I can honestly say that the quality is impressive! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm am pleasantly surprised. The silk is thick and doesn't snag....which was a concern, as sometimes I wear my earrings to bed.In addition to the overall quality, I attribute my night of interrupted sleeping to these pillowcase gems. Prior to using the silk, I would get up multiple times per night and was never able to sleep through an entire night. I highly recommend this to anyone!

I ordered just one of the pillow covers and was happy with it so I ordered a second one in the same color. The product tag indicates that they were the same color, however, one is a lighter color blue than the other. I kept both but next time I will order 2 just to be sure there isn't a color difference. The covers fit my standard pillows very well and are just the amount of overage to make putting it on the pillow easy.

I love laying down on this luxurious pillow case at the end of the day. This is a true silk pillowcase, great for curly hair and it’s better for skin.I have purchased several of these, they are delicate and usually after about a year the zipper becomes disconnected from the fabric. However, this is expected with a delicate fabric. I do not wash in a laundry bag, and I hang to dry.
